Stalls and a tack room for your horses. Build a barn aisle out of Euro or Western stall walls, hang a stall door that swings or slides, and put your tack up on racks instead of leaving it in a chest. Then hang your hat and coat by the door.

Made to go with LLS Equestrian, but it needs nothing else installed.

Questions

Do I need LLS Equestrian?

No. The walls and doors work on their own, and the saddle rack takes the vanilla saddle. With LLS Equestrian installed, its Western saddle, saddle pads, bridle, lead, lunge line and turnout blankets go on the racks too.

How do I place a door?

Aim at the block where the door's left side goes; it grows up and to your right, 2 wide and 3 tall. Sneak while placing to hinge it (Euro) or slide it (Western) to the right instead.

My door won't open.

The Euro door swings out into the aisle and needs the two blocks in front of its hinge clear. The Western door slides two blocks along and won't slide into a solid block.

How do I get tack back off a rack?

Use an empty hand, or anything that isn't tack, on it. The top piece comes off first. Breaking a rack drops everything on it.

What goes on the hat and coat racks?

Anything you wear. Any helmet or hat goes on a hat hook and any chestplate, vest or coat on a coat hook, from vanilla, Farm Clothes, Magic Clothes, Riding Clothes or any other mod. Dye, trims and enchantments all show and all come back. An empty hand takes a piece down.

How do I take a hat or coat rack down?

Mine it, or sneak-punch one of its hooks. In creative one hit does it. Whatever was hanging on it drops.

Does it work on Xbox, PlayStation or Switch?

Not yet. Consoles can't install add-on files, so this works on Windows, Android and iOS. The only way an add-on ever reaches console is the Marketplace.

Do I need to turn on experiments?

No. Switch the behaviour and resource packs on for your world and leave Beta APIs and the other experiments off.

Which version of Minecraft do I need?

Bedrock 1.21.80 or newer. Last played on Bedrock 26.52, the newest update at the time.

Why is there no Download button?

It's in early access, so the file is handed out on Discord rather than posted here. Ask there and you'll get it. It gets a proper download once it's been through a clean install and a full play-through.

Updates

  1. Hat and coat racks. A horseshoe hat rack, a coat hook, a hat and coat peg rail, a hat stand, a coat stand and a hat and coat tree. Coats hang on wooden clothes hangers and hats lean off their pegs. The saddle rack recipe now takes 4 sticks; it clashed with the Missing Blocks oak stool.
  2. First build. Euro and Western stall walls and doors, the saddle rack, bridle rack and blanket bar.
